Pumpkin Spice Your Brand? Maybe. Update Your Photos? Definitely. 😉🍂

Your business content deserves a seasonal refresh too
Fall isn't only family photo season.
It's also a great time to look at your business content and ask:
“Do I actually have enough photos to get me through the rest of the year?”
Between fall promotions, holiday marketing, year-end messages, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and planning for January, businesses suddenly need a LOT of content.
And using the same headshot for every post gets old pretty quickly.
Create fall content without making everything scream FALL
Seasonal branding photography doesn't mean you have to sit in a pile of pumpkins holding a pumpkin spice latte.
Unless that's completely on-brand for you. Then absolutely bring the latte. 😉
Instead, we can subtly bring fall into your images through:
• warmer wardrobe colors• layers and jackets• seasonal products• cozy textures• outdoor locations• warm indoor settings• fall-inspired details
The result can feel current and seasonal without becoming outdated the second November ends.
Think about what you're promoting
Before your branding session, look ahead at your business calendar.
Are you planning:
• a fall promotion?• holiday gift cards?• a seasonal service?• Black Friday offers?• Small Business Saturday content?• client appreciation posts?• holiday hours?• a January launch?
Now we can intentionally create images for those posts instead of scrambling for something to use later.
Capture photos with room for text
This is one of my favorite branding-session tricks.
If you regularly create graphics in Canva or add text to your social media photos, tell me!
We can intentionally capture some images with open space around you.
That gives you room to add:
“Now Booking”
“Holiday Special”
“3 Tips for…”
“Happy Thanksgiving”
or whatever your business needs.
Suddenly one photo can have dozens of uses.
Don't forget your holiday content
You don't necessarily need Christmas trees and ornaments to create holiday marketing images.
A few polished photos in a warmer setting or slightly dressier outfit can easily carry you through November and December.
And while we're there, we can capture evergreen content you'll still be able to use in January, February, and beyond.
Your photos should make marketing easier
That's one of my favorite things about branding photography.
We're not simply taking beautiful pictures of you.
We're creating tools for your business.
When you sit down to write a post, update your website, send an email, or create a promotion, you already have professional images waiting for you.
Less scrambling.
Less searching through your camera roll.
And definitely fewer “I guess I'll use this same headshot again” moments. 😉
