The great thing about living in New Mexico is that we have so many completely different looks within a relatively short drive.

For your fall family photos, don't just choose a location because you've seen someone else's photos there. Think about the colors, style, and overall feeling you want your own images to have.

If you love trees, trails, leaves, and a softer natural backdrop, the Bosque is a beautiful option.

During fall, the changing leaves can add gorgeous golden tones to your images. This setting pairs especially well with warm neutrals, rust, olive, cream, camel, and denim.

Neutral grasses, open skies, earthy tones, and New Mexico sunsets can create an incredible backdrop without distracting from your family.

I especially love these locations when a family wants the people and connection in the images to be the focus.
